How to take advantage of our Lowest Airfare Guarantee

Step 1: Bring us a written quote prior to booking.

We will beat it by R20 on domestic airfares and R50 on international airfares, and also issue you with a R100 voucher  for future travel. The airfare must be advertised in South African Rand by a registered South African travel agency or any airline priced in South African Rand when presented to a Flight Centre retail location in South Africa. The flight must originate from a South African airport.

A written quote must contain departure point, destination, departure and return date and time, date of quote and full price including all taxes, surcharges and service fees.

The written quote must be valid at the time of presentation for the policy to apply and be presented at the time of final payment.

It applies to new bookings for the same airline and same flight class until final payment is received and is subject to verification and availability.

3. Websites quoting in South African Rand.

We will not beat flightcentre.co.za website or other Flight Centre shops and brands.

Step 2: Confirmation that the quote is genuine and available
Your Flight Centre consultant will need to confirm and verify that the quote is genuine, available and able to be booked by the general public when you present it to us.

If it is, we will beat it by R20 on domestic airfares and R50 on international airfares, and also issue you with a R100 voucher for future travel booked in any Flight Centre store. Terms and conditions apply to voucher. Please see voucher or contact your Flight Centre store for details.

You will be required to book your flight at the time of verification of the Lowest Airfare quote, and pay in full. Normal change and cancellation conditions will apply.

If the same quoted product is not available, we will endeavour to find you the best available alternative that suits your requirements.

Fares available due to membership of a group, corporate entity or subscription to a closed group are excluded.

Price Beats are not valid for any group bookings.
A group booking consists of 10 people or more travelling together for the duration of the trip.

When it comes to airfares, if we don’t honour our Lowest Airfare Guarantee, you Fly Free!
If our Lowest Airfare Guarantee requires us to beat your airfare quote and we don’t, then you Fly Free.
Your consultant will do everything they can to book your airfare at the price you have been quoted.

You must make your free flight claim prior to flying or within 7 (seven) days of your quote not being beaten (whichever occurs first). The free flight will be booked and paid for by us and will be identical to the one you have asked us to price beat. We do not reimburse customers for flights they have purchased elsewhere, nor do we provide them with cash or vouchers to the value of the flight we were asked to price beat.
